Wendy's
used a World Holographics collector card featuring Roberto Clemente
as a sell-through premium in Pittsburgh area stores. The lenticular
cards were sold for $1.99 with purchase of a combo meal. Sales increased
by 40% during the month-long promotion. All 90,000 lenticular cards
are in circulation carrying the Wendy's logo as perpetual advertising.
This lenticular promotion won the Diamond Award as the best sales
promotion in Wendys' national system. Back
